Meet your therapist
Julia is a Couple and Family Therapist and Psychotherapist with nearly a decade of clinical experience working with individuals and couples.
Her approach is relational, collaborative, and goal-oriented. She helps clients identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional safety, and develop practical strategies for meaningful and sustainable change.
Julia has strong experience in life transitions and works with clients navigating relationship distress, communication difficulties, conflict, emotional disconnection, grief, parenting stress, anxiety, mood concerns, and burnout. In her work with couples, she focuses on improving communication, deepening connection, and supporting partners in building healthier and more adaptive ways of relating. Her practice integrates evidence-based interventions within a trauma-informed and client-centred framework.
Julia currently works in a university-based wellness setting, providing individual therapy, group interventions and wellness workshops within a stepped-care model. She is a queer-allied counsellor with extensive experience supporting queer young adults and places strong importance on creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic space.
Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from McGill University.
She is a member in good standing of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ) as a Couple and Family Therapist and of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ) as a Psychotherapist.
